I spent the morning photographing this lovely little lady.  She was so sweet and happy when she was awake, and once she drifted off to sleep we were able to dress her up in several colorful headbands and tutus.  Here's just a sampling of the cute photos we got!

I introduced you to this little man three months ago at his newborn session.  It was fun to see how much he has grown since then!  He babbled to me during much of our time together today, telling me in great detail secrets that only he understood.  :o)  Don't you just love his red hair?

Meet Miss N

This little beauty was an absolute doll to photograph this afternoon.  She stayed wide awake the whole time, so we didn't get any cute sleeping shots, but that was okay because she has such pretty big brown eyes!  Here are a few of my favorites for your sneak peek!

This little darling is definitely a princess, don't you agree?  She was so sweet and easy to photograph, and we were able to get a lot of cute poses while she slept.  As soon as big sister came home we included her in a few photos too!  Here's a few of my favorites...

Welcome Baby B

Meet 10 day old baby B.  I really enjoyed photographing this sweet little peanut.  You may remember from his maternity session a month ago, that his room was all decked out in Minnesota Twins memorabilia, so I had lot of fun incorporating some of that in his photos today.  Here are a few of my favorites!
 

New Couch

Picked up a new couch/prop this morning and couldn't wait to try it out this afternoon after spending a fun day with friends.  Thanks Jennifer!

Pelican Flock

I got to witness this amazing flock of pelicans fly directly over my house this afternoon!  Minnesota is home to several summer nesting ground sites for these large birds who have wingspans that can reach 9 feet.  They winter along the Gulf Coast from Florida to Mexico.  It was awesome to watch them - they were soaring on the air currents, just circling in big, lazy circles.

I had just pulled into the driveway when I saw them, so I ran in and grabbed my camera, snapped a few quick photos as they flew over me, then hopped back into my truck to follow them a little ways, hoping for a few more photos.  Felt a little like a storm chaser!

I counted 145 in this first picture (I think!) :)
