It's interesting how removing the color in a photograph can change the entire feel of it.
I took this photo today as the late afternoon winter sun was low in the sky. I played with the color saturation because I wanted it to have a vintage feel that might perhaps invoke feelings of nostalgic childhood memories for the viewer.
As I was changing the colors, I accidentally changed it to black and white. Instantly the mood of the photo went (in my opinion) from happy memories to a stark, almost tragic feel.
