Buddy the Anole

Meet Buddy the Anole, our newest family member.  Buddy was one of five Anoles that Girl 1 and her classmates had the privilege of studying in school this year.  Buddy and his buddies needed forever homes found for them this week of course because the school year is coming to a close next week.  Girl 1 and her 24 classmates were sent home with slips of paper describing the appeal of owning your very own Anole.  20 of those very smart parents didn't return their signed slip.  A little over $100 dollars later and a few thousand "please Momma, oh please please please's", we now own a $5 Anole.  (ok, on his behalf, he is kind of cute, and he's like a Chameleon in a way that he changes color from green to brown and back again, and should he expire someday I suppose his dwellings can always be used for another tropical reptile of some sort...)  As long as the live crickets he consumes never escape out of their own container and into "my container" we'll get along fine, I suppose..... ;o)))
