S Family

How seriously cute is this family?!  Those big eyes of the two little ones simply melt my heart!  I had the honor of taking family photos for my neighbor and super talented fellow photographer tonight.  We went to a favorite location of hers, which I had never been to before, and she had several great ideas of her own that we tried out too.  Thank you for asking me to photograph your family!

B Family

I met up with some friends out at the park this morning for this fun photo session.  Everyone brought their smiles with and we got a lot of great photos!  :)  Thanks guys!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

S Family

I've known this awesome family for a long time now, and I always enjoy taking their photos each year.  The boys are super silly and have amazing imaginations - tonight we were running away from bears!  We saw this spider during our walk, (anyone know what it is?) and I love that I caught W's startled jump when the spider suddenly moved!  I have so many favorites, here's just a few!

Little N

This little man has changed quite a bit in the six months since I saw him last, when he was a newborn!  He kept himself entertained playing with and inspecting the fallen leaves nearby.  I really wish I had a video to show you instead of just a photo (3rd one down) when his mom and dad brought out his radio in an attempt to get him to smile.  He started "dancing", bobbing up and down and "singing" along with the song - it was TOO cute!  And I am in LOVE with his big blue eyes and those long eyelashes!

Fall Family Session

I have been so busy capturing the gorgeous fall colors in client photo sessions recently, and every time I edit a session and see how pretty the leaves look, it reminds me that I have to stop and take my own fall family photos before the vibrant colors disappear into the grays and whites of winter.  Tonight was another beautiful evening, so I grabbed my camera and tripod, loaded the girls into the truck, and headed out the the state park for our own mini photo shoot.  I used the interval timer setting on my camera so I could get in the photos with the girls too since I'm usually always behind the camera lens.  I wanted some photos that would show us being ourselves in the moment, ones that would remind us of our silliness and fun and laughter together every time we look at them, and I think this single photograph of the three of us captured exactly what I had in mind perfectly.

6 month C

This little pumpkin has grown so much since the last time I photographed him.  Cute as a button, he had a marvelous time people and dog watching, and taste testing every leaf within his reach!  I loved seeing him and his family again, and I'm already looking forward to our next session!
