6 month little Z

It was a lot of fun to see how much this little guy has grown in the last three months.  So full of giggles and smiles!  And thank you to his big sister M too, for being a great smile-getting, drool-wiping assistant!  :)

3 month Miss A

I think this little sweetheart has probably the brightest blue eyes of any baby I've photographed.  And when she giggles.... oh my!  Here's a few of my many favorites....

Reading with Mars

Reading is always more fun with a friend, and when that friend happens to be furry and have four feet and is named Mars, reading gets a whole LOT more fun!  Our local library has a great program called Dog Gone Reading, where kids can practice reading aloud to a therapy dog.  What makes this program so great is that it encourages kids of all reading levels to read whether they're a good reader or a struggling reader.  There is no criticism from the dog if the child stumbles over a word, just patient listening, and this helps the child to relax and enjoy reading even more.  A big thank you to each therapy dog and their handler for volunteering their time for such an awesome program!

New Friends Big and Small

Today we met some new friends at another local stable.  Girl 2 was more interested in the smaller of the furry four-footed animals than she was in the larger ones, while Girl 1 was over the moon in love with the larger ones!

Waiting for his treat after lessons!

2 year Miss K

I have to admit, I was a little worried about how many "good" shots I was going to end up with this session only because this little beauty was on the move constantly, as two-year olds typically are, and usually way ahead of me facing away from the camera!  Add in the fact that she was so serious much of the time, I was really surprised to see how many smiles I captured too!  And I was SUPER happy that I managed to catch her "attitude" face while trying to take one last photo of her - which she did NOT want taken!

But oh, my!  I think I worried needlessly, didn't I?  She couldn't be any cuter if I tried to pose her (which any photographer or parent with a camera knows you just can't do with a two-year old, ha ha!) and how much do you just L.O.V.E. those long, gorgeous eyelashes of hers?

Thanks for letting me run around with you, Miss K!  :)
