2012 Senior

I can remember holding my nephew in the hospital shortly after he was born, petrified that he was going to wiggle out of my grasp, fall and break into pieces, much to the amusement of my brother-in-law, who assured me that newborns do not just jump out of your arms.  (a fact I discovered to be true once I had children of my own, LOL!!) ;o)))

At the risk of embarassing him now, he has grown into a remarkable young man, and I wish him all the best in his senior year and beyond.

Bubbles, Blooms and Bugs

Tonite we took time to look at things from different angles.  We also learned that as long as we have a healthy respect for nature it's fun to notice the littlest details.

A friend of mine recently asked me to sew some pillows and curtains for her.  I finished the pillows and just have a couple steps the curtains.  I think I like sewing!  :-)  I'll post a photo of the curtains as soon as we hang them!

Last weekend I met up with this wonderful couple to take their engagement photos.  The weather was perfect for picture taking and they were both so fun to take photos of. ("...relax, L!")  :o)))  I'm glad to have met you both.  Congratulations on your engagement! :o)

Dreaming of ice and snow

102 degrees today.  Hottest it's been in 23 years here.  Ice doesn't stand a chance.

Farm Field Trip

Having fun on the end of the year school field trip to a local farm jumping in the hay and looking at all the farm animals!
